Elite/Mark DVD
Just purchased and watched your DVD on the Elite series of FF/GPS units - VERY HELPFUL! I've been waiting a while to get a combo model, and I was anxious to watch your video, and it certainly took some time out of my learning curve. Have really become an avid Great Lakes Salmon fisherman this year, and have gone out on days that my 16.5 ft boat can handle the waves.

What a great day! The information was amazing. I may have been the best $ I have ever spent on fishing equipment or information. The HDS unit is so much more than I ever imagined.

Sonar DVD
Doc I would also like to thank you for sharing your knowledge on the DVDs. My fishing buddy and I bought the sonar DVD's and it is amazing what you over look because you had no clue of what you were seeing. Since I started to try to learn to read and understand what I have been seeing for years

SS DVD
I have been to a couple of you seminars and I just received you new DVD on SS LSS-1. Great DVD, I finally have the correct picture in my head of what I am seeing on my side scan.

I just received my Lowrance Structure Scan DVD from Mike's Pro Bass Gear and watched it this morning. Awesome information! A huge Texas thanks to Doc Samson for making these videos, which I really recommend for unlocking the mysteries of side scanning.

Doc, you're a valuable resource, for your knowledge and your contributions.

HDS DVD
I am about 2/3 through viewing this dvd and I gotta say Doc covered all the bases pretty well. With the new menu/operating system in these HDS units and for some who are just plain new to these electronics there is plenty to be learned by everyone in this dvd. It's a great reference tool to have. Doc could have named it HDS for Dummies. Even an advanced Dummy like myself has learned a lot watching this.
 
All DVDs

I recently ordered three products. Boat control, Basic, and the Advance Sonar DVD. Thank you for the replacement on the Advance Sonar DVD. The replacement plays perfectly. All three video/DVDs were very informative. I have viewed each several times. I also will use each as a refresher in the future. Thank you for making videos like these available!

I bought 4 of Doc's DVDs: the Basic Sonar, the Advanced Sonar, the HDS, and the Structure Scan.  All I can tell you guys and gals out there is if you haven't seen Doc's DVDs, you are falling behind those of us who are students of Doc.  Doc has a very nice way of presenting the materials and specifics of sonar and the screens.  His comfortable presentation just makes you feel like you are sitting in your living room having a discussion with him about the whole topic.  Yet, by the end of the DVD, you have enormously expanded your field of knowledge about sonar.  His DVDs are just one big "Ah HA!" moment after another. I think my biggest eye-opener was seeing how weeds showed up on the sonar, and how they looked underwater with the camera.  Or perhaps it was how the fish looked like they were sitting on the bottom, when in fact they were a number of feet off the bottom.  Then there was the segment on discerning soft bottom from hard bottom and transitions from one to the other.  Another of my favorites was the simple description of fishing for red/yellow arches and not the blue arches.  The list goes on and on.  I am so very much more comfortable with my sonar units now that I have watched Doc's videos.  And not for the last time either.  There are segments of these DVDs that will become old favorites in my playlist.
