Find the Boat

This new technology is amazing. I record files (log chart feature) on my Lowrance HDS often and I was reviewing some files and spotted a boat. I never saw the boat on the water because I was scanning the shoreline for fish and structure. My next thought was where was the boat? I opened the recorded file in DrDepth and created an image that I opened in Google Earth and bingo, I found the boat. The coordinates are on the image so you can put them into your GPS and find the boat.

This is the Google Earth location of the boat in the Saginaw River in downtown Saginaw, MI.

This is the boat on the side scan image.

This is a zoom of the boat. The boat is 40 feet long.
